Peaceful Pathways for Teens

These groups will utilize the evidenced-based program, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens MBSR-T, to teach mindfulness skills and provide tools for teens ages 13 to 18. Teens who participate in this group want to learn how to better manage their response to stressors, their symptoms of anxiety and depression, and strategies to improve their focus. MBSR-T is an adaptation of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program for adults, created by Jon Kabat-Zinn. The therapist facilitating the MBSR-T groups has been trained by the creator of this intervention.
