Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides support to children (ages 5 and older), adolescents, and young adults. With a strong foundation as a school social worker, Kelly brings deep insight into the academic, emotional, and social pressures that young people face today. Kelly’s warm, collaborative style helps create a safe and trusting space where young people can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
She specializes in a range of areas, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, school-related issues, and life transitions. Kelly uses a strengths-based and client-centered approach, incorporating practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory, and mindfulness strategies to support each client’s individual needs. Drawing on her knowledge of the school system and educational processes, Kelly is experienced in supporting families with their child’s educational plans (IEP or 504 Plan) and building strong partnerships with school staff to meet the needs of her clients.
Kelly earned her master’s degree in social work from Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at North Central College.
In her free time, she soaks up time with her 1-year-old son and enjoys the outdoors with her family.
